Good news! You can travel AND own property.
I’ve rented my whole life because I have/had a fairly nomadic lifestyle. Once I started learning more about real estate, I could have kicked myself for waiting so long to get into the game!
Buying real estate is an extremely sound financial decision, both as your primary residence AND as an investment (something like NINETY percent of the richest people in the world are involved with real estate…they must be doing something right, huh? )
If you shop around correctly, you can earn thousands of dollars the day you buy your home because of the difference in equity.
Still want to travel? No problem. You can rent out your place short or long term.
Don’t want to deal with renters? Cool. I trust your ability to hire a good property manager.
Maintenance? Hire your teenage neighbor to help out.
Afraid of the commitment? I’ve been there. Lucky for you, there are TONS of options that allow you to easily long-term rent out your current property (earning you passive income) or, if you do your shopping right, you can sell it and make a hefty sum for your next purchase.
Win. Win. Wins all around!
Living life without owning property is like playing Monopoly without property and relying on the $200 you get for passing “Go.” Maybe you won’t go bankrupt, but you certainly won’t build wealth for yourself.
Whether you travel or not — do you own property? Why or why not?
And, if you’re interested in learning more, I’d love to help you find the property of your dreams!
